#MAC OS FREEZES AFTER BOOT CAMP MAC#

I've scoured a lot of forums looking for an explanation and this seems happen to a lot of Mac users regardless of specs. Same problem here, and I've got a 2015 MacBook Air (the puny 11-inch model with only 4GB RAM).

If anyone else has any suggestions, fixes, or ideas please post, I'd love to be able to play the new update! This usually can be repeated 5-10 times before it freezes up completely and I have to restart with the power button. I then can click back into the game window and continue playing until the next freeze. The game and my computer unfreeze after ~15 seconds and my mouse appears outside of the game window. The only 'fix' I've found (after hours of googling, troubleshooting, and about 50 inevitable computer restarts) is to play the game windowed and whenever it freezes (which happens more frequently while playing windowed) 'move' my mouse outside of the game window (mouse is still frozen in game window) and click around on my desktop with the invisible mouse. This is happening in single player and multiplayer with new characters, old characters, new worlds, old worlds, and all world modes. My keyboard locks up, mouse gets the spinning wheel of death, and the only way to 'unfreeze' is to shut down and restart my computer by holding the power button. If I play fullscreen, my game will freeze anywhere from the character select screen to 5 minutes into playing in a world.

Terraria has always run my computer a little warm, but I've never had any problems with freezing/crashing. Having the same problem, playing on a 2015 Macbook Air.
